Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Coordination in Edinburg, TX. This role offers flexible, anchor shifts with the option to pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform to increase earnings.

The role emphasizes customer service, monitoring access points, logging visitors, and responding to incidents at a food and beverage manufacturing site. Pay rate is $12.38 per hour, with a 6-month anchor shift commitment.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and security-related policies at a food and beverage manufacturing location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct authorized personnel according to site requirements.
• Respond to access-control concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, facility areas, parking locations, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Document daily activities, observations, incidents, and access-control exceptions in required reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
