Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking part-time teachers to deliver LifeWise classes for grades 6–12 using the program curriculum. The role emphasizes strong Bible knowledge, caring instruction, and reliable classroom management.

The position requires active church participation, a mature Christian faith, and excellent communication to support student growth and program goals. Training and regular engagement with the LifeWise community are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience in a school or church setting
• A mature personal Christian faith in agreement with the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith
• Active participation in and commitment to a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training: complete the LifeWise Teacher Certification Course within 30 days of start date
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and customize lesson plans while applying policies and resources
• Maintain accurate attendance records, class rosters, health notes, and permissions for substitutes
• Maintain a well-ordered classroom environment and engage students with redemptive discipline and varied teaching strategies
• Communicate with program director, staff, and volunteers; attend LifeWise events and share updates and photos
