Job summary

LifeWise Academy invites applications for a part-time Secondary Education teacher for grades 6-12. The role requires a mature Christian faith, strong teaching and communication skills, and active church involvement. Training, certification, and regular program events are part of the position.

Responsibilities include lesson planning with LifeWise curriculum, keeping attendance and class rosters, and maintaining a positive classroom environment while engaging with students and staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience in school or church.
• Active personal Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Teach LifeWise classes using LifeWise curriculum and map out age-appropriate lessons.
• Maintain accurate attendance and class rosters; prepare substitute lesson plans.
• Create a positive, organized classroom environment and engage students effectively.
• Communicate with school personnel and submit regular updates to the program director.
• Act as LifeWise ambassador in the community and participate in program events.
