Job summary

Harris Teeter is seeking a part-time Meat / Seafood Clerk to process, package, and stock meat products while providing excellent customer service. You will also unload stock and reload salvage, with the possibility to cover seafood clerk duties when needed.

Candidate must be at least 18, capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, and able to work in a cool environment. Training and team collaboration are emphasized to boost customer satisfaction and sales.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions in English.
• Ability to write simple correspondence in English.
• Basic arithmetic and money handling ability.

Responsibilities

• Process, package, and stock meat products according to Meat Standards.
• Clean work areas and provide customer service.
• Unload stock and reload salvage.
• Perform duties of seafood clerk when assigned.
