Job Title: Seafood Associate (Part-Time)

This is a part-time position responsible for processing, packaging, and stocking seafood products according to Seafood Standards. The role includes cleaning work areas, providing customer service, unloading stock, and reloading salvage. When assigned, perform duties of a meat clerk.

Essential Functions:

1. Process and package seafood products following standards.
2. Stock shelves and unload shipments.
3. Maintain cleanliness of work areas.
4. Provide excellent customer service.
5. Perform meat clerk duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED, or 1-3 months related experience/training, or equivalent.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and willingness to participate in training.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic math skills, including addition and subtraction with money and weight measurements.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and solve problems with concrete variables.
• Completion of company training programs including safety, sanitation, and product knowledge.

Physical Demands:

Must regularly stand, walk, handle objects, reach, talk, hear, and smell. Occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Must lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds frequently. Vision abilities required include close, color, and depth perception.

Work Environment:

Work is performed in a cool environment (34-36°F), often wet or humid, with moving mechanical parts. Exposure to fumes, airborne particles, chemicals, and extreme cold is common. Noise levels are moderate to loud.
