Responsibilities

• Provide polite, friendly greetings and interactions with all guests, creating a welcoming environment.
• Prepare knife-ready products for sale by slicing, trimming, wrapping, weighing, and pricing according to standards.
• Assist with product receiving, inventory management, and storage.
• Price, stock, and rotate frozen items, prepared meats, and fresh meat/seafood in sales areas.
• Maintain safety and sanitation standards in all areas contacting meat/seafood, including prep areas, coolers, freezers, and sales floor.
• Ensure products are of high quality and freshness, checking all products are in date.
• Communicate shrink issues and guest requests/concerns to management.
• Make PA announcements for sale and promotional items in the meat/seafood department.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Good interpersonal and effective selling skills with an outgoing personality.
• Ability to work well with others, sell, and interact with guests.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally and 25 lbs constantly.
• Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to work in a cold environment.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
