Job summary

SLO Classical Academy is seeking a part-time School van driver to transport students on mornings routes from North County to SLOCA and back, Monday through Thursday, about 7:00 am to 8:15 am until June 2026.

You must have a valid California driver’s license, at least 3 years of driving, a clean record for 1 year, and CPR & First Aid training; age 21+. Pre-employment screenings will be conducted.

Qualifications

• Required: valid California driver’s license.
• Minimum 3 years driving experience.
• Clean driving record for at least 1 year.
• CPR and First Aid training completed.
• Age 21 or older and able to pass screenings.

Responsibilities

• Report to duty on time and transport students safely from North County to SLOCA and back.
• Follow SLOCA procedures for vehicle use and student management.
• Drive safely and sober, obey traffic laws and avoid violations.
• Wear corrective lenses if required and document driving expenses.
• Inspect van for gas, tire pressure and fluids; report issues promptly.
