Job summary

Independence Classical Academy is seeking a dependable Student Transportation Driver to provide safe, reliable transportation for students in a part-time role operating a 14-passenger van.

Responsibilities include pre-trip inspections, safe pickup/drop-off, and following traffic laws; you will communicate with students, families and school staff and keep logs of routes and maintenance. A valid license and clean driving record are required, with GPS familiarity a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 14-passenger van for student transport.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and transportation regulations.
• Assist students with boarding and exiting the vehicle.
• Communicate schedule changes to students, parents and staff.
• Maintain accurate logs of routes, passenger counts, and vehicle maintenance reports.
• Assist with loading or unloading supplies when necessary.
• Maintain a safe, professional environment for students at all times.
