First Student is hiring Part Time School Van Drivers in the Raymore-Peculiar School District to start students' days with morning pickups and transport them home after school. Training is provided to help you become a safe and professional driver.

No experience is necessary, and the role offers a flexible part-time schedule with split AM/PM shifts, plus opportunities for field trips and events. Join a nationwide network of drivers across the U.S. and Canada committed to student safety.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years.
• Part-time schedule with summers off.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities.
• Supervise boarding and unloading; assist students with seatbelts and mobility aids.
• Maintain order on the vehicle to prevent distractions.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections (brakes, lights, tires, etc.).
• Report issues, keep vehicle clean and sanitary.
• Follow all traffic laws and safety standards.
• Communicate with parents and school staff about delays or behavior.
• Demonstrate leadership and customer service.
