Job summary

First Student is hiring Part Time School Van Drivers to transport students to and from school and activities. You will supervise boarding, assist with seatbelts, and conduct safety inspections, all while maintaining a clean, safe vehicle. Training is provided and EMT-like safety standards apply.

The role offers flexible AM/PM shifts, potential for field trips, and opportunities to advance into leadership roles across locations in the U.S. and Canada.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years old.
• Valid driver's license for at least 3 years.
• Part-time schedule with split AM/PM routes.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities.
• Supervise boarding and unloading; assist with seatbelts and mobility aids.
• Maintain order on the vehicle to prevent distractions.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report issues.
• Communicate with parents, school staff and dispatch about delays or behavior.
