Job summary

A local school district is seeking a Part-Time School Police Officer to monitor school grounds and perform security checks. The ideal candidate should have completed the Pennsylvania State Police Academy, be familiar with PA law, and be able to work under pressure. Qualifications

• Must complete NASRO training or equivalent.
• Must complete CPR/AED/FIRST AID training.
• Must complete firearm training if required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor school grounds, cafeteria, restrooms and halls.
• Perform security checks of school buildings.
• Direct campus traffic and parking.

Skills

Basic MPOETC training (Act 120)

Ability to work under pressure

Familiar with PA law

Military Police Training

Education

Graduate of Pennsylvania State Police Academy
