Job summary

Christopher Columbus Charter School is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist to provide school-based services for grades K–8. You will evaluate students, develop individualized therapy plans, and participate in IEP meetings to support student success in the educational environment.

Responsibilities include collaboration with teachers, families, and related service providers, as well as documentation and progress monitoring in a school setting.

Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania Physical Therapist license.
• PDE Educational Specialist certification as a School Physical Therapist (or eligibility).
• Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a K–8 setting.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Part-Time Physical Therapist (K–8 School)

Christopher Columbus Charter School is seeking a part‑time Physical Therapist to provide school‑based physical therapy services to students in grades K–8. The Physical Therapist will evaluate students, develop and implement individualized therapy plans, participate in IEP meetings, and collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers to support student success in the educational environment.

Qualifications:

• Current Pennsylvania Physical Therapist license.
• Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) Educational Specialist certification as a School Physical Therapist (or eligibility to obtain certification).
• Experience working with school‑aged children, preferably in a K–8 setting.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

• Completion of PDE Form 6004: Arrest/Conviction Report and Certification (Act 24)

• Completion of Mandated Reporter Abuse Training (Act 126)
• Completion of Professional Ethics Training
