Job summary

Birch Agency seeks a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide school-based services in Naples, Florida. Flexible part-time schedule (2–3 hours/week) with a contract through the 2026–2027 school year, starting ASAP.

Role involves collaboration with educators, families, and a multidisciplinary team to support students' functional independence and academic success. The OT will address fine motor, visual motor, sensory processing, and functional skills, aligning interventions with IEP goals and

Qualifications

• Active Florida Occupational Therapy license is required.
• Experience with school-based or pediatric OT preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct OT evaluations and assessments to determine students' needs.
• Develop and implement OT treatment plans aligned with IEP goals.
• Provide direct OT services to students in individual and small-group settings.
• Address fine motor, visual motor, sensory processing, self-care, handwriting, and school participation skills.
• Train students and staff in adaptive equipment and assistive technology when appropriate.
• Monitor progress and adjust intervention plans as needed.
• Maintain documentation and Medicaid billing requirements.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and related service providers.
• Participate in IEP and MDT meetings.
• Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal regulations.
