Job summary

Point Quest Group is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide school-based OT services for students in Fort Myers, FL. The role requires an OT license and focuses on functional, academic, sensory, and life skills within educational settings.

You will design and implement treatment plans, conduct evaluations, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, maintain documentation, and ensure compliance with state and district regulations. Part-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license in Florida (or eligibility to obtain).
• Experience in school-based or pediatric settings supporting children with learning, developmental, sensory, or social-emotional needs.
• Experience with sensory integration, fine motor development, and adaptive strategies.
• Excellent organizational, documentation, and clinical reasoning skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with students’ IEPs and clinical needs.
• Provide direct OT services to students across school-based settings.
• Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and related service providers to support student goals and accommodations.
• Develop, update, and monitor IEP goals, including participation in annual and triennial reviews.
• Complete data collection, progress monitoring, and clinical documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
• Recommend adaptive strategies, environmental modifications, and assistive equipment as needed.
• Provide consultation, training, and guidance to school staff and COTAs when applicable.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and district regulations related to occupational therapy services.
