Job summary

Topaz HR seeks a Part-Time Occupational Therapist for a school-based role in Salem, Oregon. This 0.8 FTE position (about 30–32 hours/week) pays $45–65 per hour with a sign-on bonus, commensurate with experience.

You will perform OT evaluations, create IEP-aligned goals, support eligibility decisions, and collaborate with teachers, families, and school teams to help students develop functional, academic, and daily living skills.

Qualifications

• Current Oregon OT license.
• Experience working as an OT in a school-based setting.
• Experience serving as a direct member of IEP teams.
• Experience conducting occupational therapy assessments and evaluations.
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy evaluations and IEP-directed services in a school setting
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for initial eligibility and re-evaluations
• Develop and implement occupational therapy goals and services aligned with student needs and IEPs
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation of therapy sessions and evaluations
• Participate as a direct member of IEP teams and attend IEP meetings
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and educational team members
• Help students develop functional, academic, and school-related skills
