Job summary

Clevelandschools is seeking a part-time Nutrition Technician to assist in preparing and serving meals for students. You will complete assigned duties under the Nutrition Manager, ensuring safety and efficiency in meal production and service.

The role involves assisting with fruit, salad bar items, sandwiches, and breakfast preparations, monitoring lunch service, and helping in dishroom and clean-up tasks as needed. Training in current federal standards is required annually.

Qualifications

• Completes annual training requirements based on current Federal standards

Responsibilities

• Cups all fruit/desserts on menu for the day
• Assists with salad bar preparation
• Assists with wrapping meats/sandwiches on menu for the day
• Assists with preparation of breakfast items for the next day
• Monitors lunch line during lunch service and serves when needed
• Assists with replenishing food as needed on the line
• Works in dishroom as scheduled
• Cleans up assigned work area: sweeps, mops, wipes down work tables
• Other duties as assigned by manager
