Job summary

Liberty School District 53 is seeking a part-time Nutrition Service Associate I to support student meals and campus operations. The role is 15–20 hours weekly, Monday through Friday, with shifts between 8:00 am and 2:30 pm.

It is a 10‑month position with the option to work during summer school. Responsibilities include preparing and serving meals, operating the POS system, and upholding strict sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Food Handlers certificate required within 30 days of employment.
• Ability to push/pull, lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and serves nutritious meals to students, staff and guests.
• Operate POS system and process student meal transactions.
• Adheres to all kitchen sanitation policies and procedures, including washing dishes.
• Interacts positively with team, staff members, students and guests.
