Job summary

Park Hill South High School is seeking a Nutrition Services Assistant for a 5-hour workday. The role supports food service activities, prepares and serves items to students and staff, and maintains a safe, sanitary kitchen environment at the school site.

Responsibilities include following worksheet instructions, inventory checks, assisting with meal preparation, and reporting equipment issues to the supervisor. A High School diploma and Food Handlers/SafeServ certification are required.

Responsibilities

• Arranges food and beverages for serving to students and staff.
• Cleans utensils, equipment, and serving areas to maintain sanitary conditions.
• Inventories food, condiments and supplies to meet menu requirements.
• Maintains sanitary conditions of storage and prep areas.
• Reports equipment malfunctions to supervisor for repair.
