Job summary

Norwalk Community School District is seeking a part-time General Nutrition Worker for the Secondary Campus Cafeteria in Norwalk, Iowa. You will perform food production, sanitation, cashiering, and customer service while following district and state guidelines.

Responsibilities include preparing food, documenting processes, maintaining safety and cleanliness, and assisting with allergy accommodations under supervision of the Kitchen Manager and Nutrition Director.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of food service operations and sanitation
• Ability to follow SOPs and safety regulations
• Ability to operate POS and handle cash accurately

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs, Iowa Food Code and Federal regulations.
• Provide quality food production and service with documentation.
• Maintain sanitation, safety and security of the facility.
