Peru Junior Senior High is seeking a part-time School Nurse to provide health services in the school setting. The role requires punctuality and excellent communication, with an Indiana RN license and CPR certification.

The nurse will coordinate health services, maintain confidential records, and administer first aid, chronic care, and medications during the 8:00 am–2:00 pm window on three days per week. This position supports immunization programs and health education within Indiana law.

Formación

• Indiana licensure: BSN and RN license required for certain roles.
• CSN certification commonly required.
• Experience with children or in a school setting preferred.
• Strong communication and pediatric health knowledge are essential.

Responsabilidades

• Provide health care: administer first aid and care for acute and chronic conditions.
• Coordinate health services between students, families, teachers, and health agencies.
• Health screenings and records: maintain confidential student health records and immunization compliance.
• Medication management: oversee consent, administration, and monitoring of student medications per Indiana Code.
• Disease prevention: monitor and report communicable diseases and immunization programs.
