Job summary

Marianapolis Preparatory School seeks a part-time School Nurse to care for the student health population during the academic year. The nurse will treat medical issues, promote disease prevention, and coordinate routine health assessments in collaboration with the Health Office team.

The role involves early detection of health problems, maintaining records, and communicating care to staff. Per diem openings and 1–2 days per week options are available, reporting to the Health Office RN.

Qualifications

• One year full-time nursing experience within last five years.
• Driver's license highly desirable for student transport.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional medical treatment to students.
• Detect physical problems early and perform evaluations.
• Promote health education and immunization programs.
• Maintain clinical records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate vision, hearing, and orthopedic screenings.
• Provide emergency aid to students and staff.
• Communicate with residential staff about medical support for boarding students.
• Remotely support emergent residential medical concerns on weeknights.
