Job summary

Lotus Learning Group LLC is seeking a part-time interim kitchen cook to prepare breakfast and lunch for students each day in a school setting. The role is in-person in Egg Harbor Township, NJ, with typical hours from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm, Monday through Friday, 25–30 hours weekly.

Applicants should have cooking experience (1 year preferred) and a HS diploma or equivalent. ServSafe is a plus but not required; ability to work independently and safely in a fast-paced environment is essential.

Qualifications

• Cooking experience, 1 year preferred.
• Knowledge of school food programs/food.
• Must be 18 years or older and have a HS diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check (criminal history & child abuse review).
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with staff and students.
• Ability to work without direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide breakfast and lunch for students daily as per program rules.
• Complete necessary paperwork.
• Work with a team of staff.
