Job summary

Lotus Learning Group LLC is seeking a part-time interim kitchen cook to prepare breakfast and lunch for students each day in a school setting. The role is in-person in Egg Harbor Township, NJ, with typical hours from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm, Monday through Friday, 25–30 hours weekly.

Applicants should have cooking experience (1 year preferred) and a HS diploma or equivalent. ServSafe is a plus but not required; ability to work independently and safely in a fast-paced environment is essential.

Interim Kitchen Cook- Temporary/Part time

Needed for a Regional Day School located in Egg Harbor Twp, Atlantic County, NJ.

The temporary cook will: provide breakfast and lunch (2 lunch periods) daily for students according to the program's regulations; complete some necessary paperwork; work with a team of staff.

Hours: M-F, approximately 7am-2:00pm

Job Description:

We are looking for a temporary part time Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have some cooking experience in a school and/or restaurant setting, Servsafe certification a plus but not mandatory, knowledgeable of food safety and sanitation rules, must be a self-starter, able to work independently, and possess strong attention to detail. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong work ethic.

*Super hours for those who need to get their kids from the bus stop on time, have an evening job, and/or at school in the evenings*

Job Type: Part-time, Temporary, no benefits

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
