Job summary

River Valley Christian School is seeking a part-time financial clerk to support accounts payable, billing, collections, and daily transactions. You will help ensure accuracy, adhere to controls, and assist with reconciliations.

The role requires collaboration with staff, handling vendor invoices, card administration, and deposit processing while maintaining organized records and contributing to the school’s financial health.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in accounting or related field preferred.
• 2 years of accounting experience preferred.
• Knowledge of GAAP and basic bookkeeping practices.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices, approvals, coding, and supporting documents.
• Assist with credit card administration and dispute resolution.
• Support collections for past-due tuition and billing accuracy.
• Serve as primary contact for parent questions on invoices and balances.
• Prepare general ledger entries and support reconciliations.
• Maintain organized digital records and follow internal controls.
