Job summary

Bedford County Public Schools NEW LONDON ACADEMY in Lynchburg, Virginia, is seeking a part-time custodian to assist with maintaining the school district's facilities and to operate equipment safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Unskilled position but physically able and willing to learn jobs pertaining to maintenance building and grounds.
• Must read and understand work orders issued to them.
• Must help keep records or inventory of supplies.
• Must carry out simple work orders such as mowing grass, picking up and delivering supplies, painting, etc.
• School Board may find alternative qualifications acceptable.

• Attend training courses and engage in independent study.
