Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED and some cleaning experience.
• Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Keeps building and premises neat and clean at all times, including sidewalks and play areas.
• Checks exit doors daily to ensure security during occupancy.
• Sweeps, vacuums, and dusts classrooms daily.
• Cleans corridors after school and as needed during the day.
• Disinfects toilets and drinking fountains daily; cleans fixtures.
• Washes interior/exterior windows at least twice yearly.
• Disposes of litter and debris; reports major repairs promptly.
• Maintains scheduled servicing on motors and equipment.
• Maintains school grounds: mowing, trimming, weeding, mulching, snow removal as needed.
• Opens/closes building daily; ensures doors/windows are secured and lights off.
• Moves furniture as directed; follows disposal procedures for trash.
• Performs related duties as assigned by administrator or supervisor.
