Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of traffic safety rules and school policies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the safe crossing of students in designated areas.
• Assist students, parents, and staff to access school grounds safely.
• Communicate school policies and crosswalk procedures to students and guardians.
• Report incidents relating to students to school personnel.
• Respond to emergencies to address safety concerns.
• Wear orange safety vest and use MPS signs to guide pedestrians.
• Place and remove crossing and traffic signs to notify motorists.
• Maintain regular on-time attendance.
• Assist with other assigned duties as appropriate.
