Job summary

Chandler Unified School District is seeking a Crossing Guard to help students safely navigate intersections and monitor vehicle traffic. This part-time position follows a 9-month calendar and pays $16.53 per hour, with opportunities to combine with additional part-time roles up to 8 hours daily.

Responsibilities include placing traffic signs, guiding students through crosswalks, and reporting violators in the 15 mph zone.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• First aid training is desirable
• Ability to work cooperatively with students, parents, staff, and the public
• Vision and hearing adequate for safe duties

Responsibilities

• Place traffic signs where required
• Guide students through crosswalks
• Ensure student safety within crosswalk lines
• Report violators of the 15 MPH zone
• Perform related duties to support the position
• Maintain safety and professional conduct at all times
