Qualifications

• Completion of District Crossing Guard Training Program prior to performing crossing guard duties.
• Obtain and maintain a valid Arizona Identity Verified Prints (AZ IVP FPCC).
• High School diploma or GED preferred; one year of crossing guard experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs, monitors, and assists students and community members to cross at established crosswalks and school zones.
• Alerts motorists to the presence of students and community by displaying appropriate signs and stopping traffic.
• Maintains discipline by monitoring student behavior and taking actions per policies.
• Places/removes signs for school zones per crosswalk agreement; wears reflective clothing during duties.
