Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED accepted (or progress towards GED).
• One year experience operating a motor vehicle.
• Must meet criminal record check requirements per Kentucky state law.
• Valid Kentucky Commercial Class B license with passenger endorsement.
• Satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Operate a school bus on designated routes according to time schedules, pick up and discharge students.
• Provide safe and efficient transportation for district students to and from school, events and field trips.
• Perform daily inspections and routine maintenance of the vehicle.
• Assist in loading and unloading of physically and mentally disabled students as necessary.
