Stanly County Schools East Albemarle Elementary School is seeking a part-time Bus Driver for Albemarle, North Carolina. The role involves transporting students to and from school and events, performing pre/post-trip inspections, and maintaining bus safety and cleanliness.

The position requires a valid NC CDL with P and S endorsements, a high school diploma or GED, and at least 6 months of driving experience. Work hours are early morning and late afternoon, with no benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 6 months driving experience or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Valid commercial driver’s license with passenger and bus endorsements in NC.
• CDL with P and S endorsements required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the school bus.
• Transport students to and from school and activities.
• Clean and maintain the bus interior and exterior.
• Fuellike behavior and safety compliance on routes.
• Record mileage and participate in drills as required.
