Job summary

Teaneck Public Schools seeks part-time School Bus Drivers to join the Transportation Department in Teaneck, New Jersey. Drivers transport students safely to and from school, and support field trips and district activities.

This position offers morning and afternoon routes, with a maximum of five hours per day, at $28.57 per hour. Additional driving opportunities may be available based on district transportation needs.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL, Class B, with school bus and passenger endorsements.
• At least 3 years of driving experience preferred.
• Background checks and NJ requirements must be met.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and to district events.
• Ensure students board and exit safely and assist with seatbelts.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain a clean and safe bus environment.
• Communicate delays or safety concerns to the Transportation Department.
