Job summary

Student Transportation Of America is hiring a part-time school bus driver in New Jersey. You will safely transport students along set routes with support from local management and ongoing training.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 6am–9am and 2:00pm–4:30pm with a pay rate of $29.00 per hour. Eligible candidates must be 21+, have at least 3 years of verifiable driving history, and be able to obtain a CDL; pre-employment background checks apply.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Minimum 3 years verifiable driving history.
• Ability to obtain a CDL.
• Complete a CDL training program.
• Pre-employment background checks apply.

Responsibilities

• Drive a school bus route and pick up/drop off students.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Attend monthly safety meetings.
• Clean bus to maintain professional image.
• Drive field trips, activity trips, and charter runs when requested.
