Job summary

Buckled In in Portland, OR is seeking responsible drivers to shuttle K-12 students to and from school. This part-time role averages about 20 hours per week during the school year, with pay per route and possible additional amounts depending on routes and distance.

As a W2 employee, drivers receive paid training and join a team with a safety-first mindset. A safety tech system is installed in every vehicle to support safe driving and coaching.

Qualifications

• You are at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
• You have current and valid car insurance and accompanying vehicle registration.
• You have at least 3 years of legal driving experience.
• You own a four-door vehicle in good condition and a smartphone.
• You can pass onboarding including BCI/FBI fingerprinting, drug screening, and a 19-point vehicle inspection.
• You read, write and speak English proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Drive K-12 students safely and reliably to and from school
• Create a positive, kind, and welcoming environment for children
• Communicate consistently with parents, caregivers, and school staff
• Be available from MONDAY - FRIDAY, 6:00-9:00 am and 1-4:30 pm on weekdays
