Job summary

First Student is hiring part-time School Bus Drivers in Oak Park, MI. You’ll start mornings with pickup and return students home in the afternoon, with additional hours for field trips. No prior experience required; we provide expert training to help you become a safe and professional driver.

Earn $24.75 per hour, with training rate also $24.75 per hour. Benefits include medical, dental, vision and life insurance, 401(k) with company match, and a flexible part-time schedule.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided to become a safe First Student driver.
• Must meet state licensing requirements for CDL training.
• Ability to supervise students and maintain safety on bus.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities.
• Supervise boarding and unloading, assist with seatbelts and mobility aids.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus.
• Report mechanical issues and keep the bus clean and safe.
