Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist to support students in a Spanaway, WA school setting for the 2026-2027 year. The role involves evaluations, treatment plan development, and collaboration with educators, families, and staff on IEP processes.

This on-site position offers a stable schedule with 7.5 hours per week and benefits such as healthcare, housing, and meals/incidentals. Candidates must hold a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy with valid state licensure.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy required.
• Valid state licensure for Physical Therapists.
• Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings is desirable.
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students’ physical therapy needs within the school environment.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans tailored to student goals.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and other support staff to promote student success.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings and documentation.
• Provide hands‑on support, adaptive strategies, and interventions to improve mobility and access in classrooms and campus.
• Educate staff and caregivers on techniques and best practices to support student progress.
