Job summary

Soliant is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist to support students in a vibrant school setting. Work 20-25 hours per week on a contract through the school year, collaborating with teachers and parents to foster student success and independence.

Ideal candidates are licensed OTs with school-based experience, proficient in IEP processes and progress documentation, and capable of delivering individualized, evidence-based interventions in collaboration with school staff.

Qualifications

• Licensed OT with credentials for school-based practice.
• Experience delivering OT services in educational settings with assessments, goal setting, and progress monitoring.
• Strong understanding of IEP processes, documentation, and compliance.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with students, staff, and families.
• Ability to design and implement evidence-based interventions tailored to student needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to determine students’ needs and develop individualized therapy plans.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to integrate OT strategies into daily routines.
• Deliver targeted therapy sessions that address fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, and adaptive skills.
• Monitor and document student progress, providing updates and recommendations at IEP meetings.
• Advocate for student access to appropriate tools, modifications, and support in the school environment.
