Summit Academy North is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist to join our healthcare team in Romulus, Michigan. The role focuses on evaluating clients, developing personalized treatment plans, and promoting independence in daily activities.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, educate clients and families, document progress, and adjust plans to support optimal recovery in a friendly, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• Proven experience in occupational therapy, preferably in a similar setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Empathy and a strong dedication to client care and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess clients’ needs, abilities, and goals.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to promote independence in daily activities.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
• Educate clients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and best practices.
• Document client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary for optimal outcomes.
• Promote a positive and encouraging atmosphere for recovery and rehabilitation.
