Job summary

Birch Agency is seeking a Part-Time, In-Person Occupational Therapist in Dearborn, MI to support student growth and promote independence within a school setting. You will evaluate and treat students, align services with IEP goals, and maintain detailed progress notes while working with teachers and families to maximize learning outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active Michigan OT license is required.
• Experience in a school setting is preferred.
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and goal development.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct occupational therapy services in alignment with IEP goals.
• Conduct student evaluations and re-evaluations as needed.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Utilize sensory room resources to support student needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers.
