Job summary

ESC of Lake Erie West in Toledo, Ohio seeks an audiologist for part-time, contract work. You will assess and treat Deaf/Hard of Hearing students, perform audiometric evaluations, fitting of hearing aids, and provide recommendations on HAT/DM systems within school settings.

Requires Doctoral or Master’s in Audiology, state licensure, and eligibility for Ohio Pupil Service Registration; pediatric experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Doctoral or Master’s Degree in Audiology.
• Current licensure through the Ohio Speech and Hearing Board.
• Ohio State Board of Education Pupil Service Registration or ability to attain registration.
• Experience in pediatric audiology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess auditory status and amplification needs of children, including diagnostic audiograms and central auditory processing testing.
• Order and fit hearing aids and DM systems using real-ear measurements and best practice.
• Oversee district-owned audiology equipment and maintain records.
