Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Audiology (Master’s or Doctorate/Au.D) from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Michigan Audiologist License issued by LARA.
• CCC-A credential.
• No physical or mental restrictions that would hinder duties.
• Ability to maintain cooperative relationships and confidentiality.
• Familiarity with spreadsheets, calendar, and email to perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform audiological assessments and Deaf/Hard of Hearing evaluations for students.
• Collaborate with clinical audiologists and ENT for reports and clearances.
• Interpret evaluation results for teachers and parents.
• Consult with staff and parents on educational implications of D/HH eligibility.
• Conduct auditory training for staff working with D/HH students.
• Manage and maintain HAT equipment and perform validation/verification.
