Job summary

Southwest Ohio ENT Specialists is seeking an Audiologist to perform audiological evaluations, electrophysiologic and vestibular testing, and counsel patients on hearing loss and devices.

The role includes hearing aid fittings, verification, troubleshooting, and family education, with potential for cochlear implants and BAHA services. Strong communication and teamwork are essential; state licensure in Ohio is required or must be obtained soon after hire.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Audiology (upcoming graduates welcome to apply).
• State of Ohio Audiology license or ability to attain within 1 month of hire.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform pediatric to adult audiologic evaluations and related testing.
• Provide hearing aid evaluations, fittings, verification, troubleshooting, and counseling.
• Conduct specialized testing such as ABR, VNG, ECOG, and vestibular/VEMP as assigned.
• Perform cochlear implant and BAHA evaluations, activations, mappings, and follow-up.
• Counsel patients on devices, care, and realistic expectations; educate families.
• Document visits in the electronic medical record and maintain instruments.
