Job summary

Chicago Public Schools is seeking Part-Time Aides to assist with student supervision before, during, and after the school day. Positions are limited to 3.75 hours per day, maximizing coverage during non-instructional periods at Southwest Side (Sandoval School).

Responsibilities include overseeing students in lunch/recess, study halls, and entry/exit, while complying with district policies. A high school diploma or GED is required, with preferred one year of supervision experience.

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED (required).
• One year of experience supervising children in organized settings (preferred).
• Ability to work with and for school children and follow policies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students during lunch and/or recess.
• Assist during study halls for non-instructional minutes.
• Support during in-school suspensions.
• Assist with student entry/exit processes.
• Monitor areas around the school building.
