Job summary

Chicago Public Schools is seeking Part-Time Aides to assist with supervision of students before, during, and after the school day. Positions are limited to 3.75 hours per day and focus on non-instructional activities within the school environment.

Responsibilities include supervising students during lunch, recess, study halls, and entry/exit procedures, while ensuring safety and adherence to school policies. Prior experience in supervising children is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED equivalent (required).
• One year of experience in the supervision of children in an organized setting (preferred).
• Ability to work with and for school children.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to learn and follow school and district policies, procedures, and expectations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with supervision of students during non-instructional activities.
• Support supervision during lunch, recess, study halls, and in-school suspensions.
• Assist with student entry/exit and be present around the school building.
