Job summary

Chicago Public Schools is seeking Part-Time Aides to assist with supervising students during non-instructional times before, during, and after the school day. Aides work up to 3.75 hours per day, on-site at North/Northwest Side-2845 W Barry Ave (Carlos Fuentes Elem School).

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, and previous experience supervising children is preferred. Strong ability to follow written and oral instructions and to learn school policies is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervising children in organized settings is preferred.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Strong ability to work with school children and follow district policies.

Responsibilities

• During lunch and/or recess periods.
• During study halls (non-instructional minutes).
• During in-school suspensions.
