Job summary

CPS is seeking Part-Time Aides to assist with the supervision of students during non-instructional activities before, during, and after the school day. Aides may work for the school, but not more than 3.75 hours per day.

Responsibilities include supervising students during lunch, recess, study halls, in-school suspensions, entry/exit, and patrolling areas around the school building. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and prefers at least one year of experience supervising children in

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED is required.
• One year of experience supervising children in an organized setting is preferred.
• Ability to work with and for school children.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to learn and follow school and district policies, procedures, and expectations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students during lunch and recess.
• Supervise study halls during non-instructional minutes.
• Supervise students during in-school suspensions.
• Assist with student entry and exit procedures.
