Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School-Age Childcare Site Director for Kendall Elementary School for the 2026–2027 school year. This part-time, non-exempt position oversees before and after school care and ensures safe, engaging activities aligned with our curriculum.

Compensation is $17.00 per hour with staffing coordination, family communication, and compliance responsibilities. Employer-paid childcare and a supportive benefits package accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Must be medically cleared to perform all job duties and free of communicable diseases.
• Demonstrates a positive, friendly demeanor with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and professional in conduct and appearance.
• Able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds, and meet the physical demands of working with children.

Responsibilities

• Ensure staff and program operations meet state regulations, Healthy Kids policies, and host school requirements.
• Plan and lead engaging, hands-on activities aligned with the Healthy Kids Curriculum (fitness, STEAM, academics, arts, homework support).
• Oversee daily tasks such as attendance, registration, scheduling, and staffing levels.
• Maintain clear communication with parents/caregivers using the Playground App.
• Coordinate with supervisor to maintain high-quality care and team morale.
