Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School-Age Childcare Site Director for Kendall Elementary School’s Before and After School Program for the 2026–2027 school year. The role focuses on managing staff, planning activities, and ensuring compliance with state regulations and school policies.

Ideal candidates are strong communicators who can mentor staff, engage students in fitness, STEAM, and academics, and coordinate with families for a safe, enriching program aligned to the school day.

Qualifications

• Requires foundational childcare experience with children under 13
• Supervisory or lead role experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with families and staff
• Academic or credential requirements per listed options

Responsibilities

• Ensure staff and program operations meet state regulations and host school requirements
• Plan and lead engaging activities aligned with curriculum (fitness, STEAM, academics, arts, homework support)
• Oversee daily tasks: attendance, registration, scheduling, staffing levels
• Maintain clear communication with parents/caregivers via Playground App
• Provide positive team environment and proactive problem-solving
