Job summary

St. Louis Park Public Schools is seeking a School Age Care CE Educator to support before- and after-school programs for grades K-5 across multiple community centers.

Under the supervision of the Site Supervisor and Child Care Coordinator, you will supervise and engage children, provide safe, nurturing activities, and help maintain attendance and program records. This is a 0.50 FTE, 4 hours/day, 12-month position with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of child care programming and services.
• Knowledge of child development theories.
• Oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to supervise groups of children and implement activities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor activities to ensure safety and learning.
• Interact with children and families in the program.
• Teach, play, and engage children throughout the day.
• Supervise groups and teach social, recreational, and conflict resolution skills.
