Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring School-Age Childcare Staff for our Before and After School Program at Columbia Middle School Taylor Campus in Columbia, PA for the 2026–2027 school year.

Pay ranges from $13.50 to $16.00 per hour, with schedules following the school calendar: morning 7:00–8:30 and afternoon 2:45–6:00, with opportunities for both. Part-time, non-exempt status, 18+ years, HS diploma, and 2 years experience with children are required.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of experience working with children under 13
• Medically cleared of communicable diseases, TB included
• Warm, friendly, professional, and reliable
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum including fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and homework completion.
• Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and act as a positive role model for children.
• Observe state guidelines, program policies, and host school policies.
• Support program operations, including attendance records, registration, and staffing responsibilities
